As a therapist, an important thing to do during the initial sessions would be to create a space where you feel comfortable and safe to express & explore your thoughts, emotions and feelings without any fear of judgement. Also, the initial 2-3 session would be me getting to know you better, what brought you to therapy and what are your expectations from the same

My primary focus is on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and the Developmental Model of Couples Therapy, allowing me to address a wide range of issues effectively while fostering growth and understanding in both individuals and relationships
How do I know if I’m making progress in therapy?
​​Progress in therapy is very subjective and can look different for everyone. For some, it might mean feeling more in control of emotions, making decisions with greater ease, or noticing shifts in thought patterns. We’ll regularly check in on your individual goals to help you recognise and celebrate your unique progress
How do I know if you are the right fit for me?
To help determine if I’m the right fit for you, I offer a complimentary 15-minute intake call before our initial session. During this call, we’ll discuss your background, concerns and challenges that brought you to therapy.
I will also give you a brief overview of my therapeutic approach, cover logistical details and explain confidentiality practices. This conversation will also allow you to ask any questions, helping you feel comfortable before our first session and to mutually understand if we can work together.

I believe that therapy should be tailored to each individual's unique needs, which is why I utilize an integrated approach. This means I draw from various therapeutic methods in psychology to create a personalised experience for each client.

If you’re in crisis or experiencing an emergency, it’s important to seek immediate help from a crisis hotline or emergency services. I can provide resources for such situations. ​​​
Do you involve partner or family member for individual therapy?
In individual therapy, I may involve partners or family members if it enhances the client’s progress. This inclusion can provide valuable support, improve communication, and help address relational dynamics. The decision to involve others is always made collaboratively, ensuring it aligns with the client's needs and goals for therapy
What would be the frequency of our session?
The frequency of our sessions will depend on your individual needs and goals. Most of the clients start with weekly sessions, especially in the beginning, to establish a strong foundation and feel better. However, we can adjust the frequency to biweekly or monthly as you progress. We’ll discuss what feels right for you during our sessions and find a schedule that supports your growth and healing.
